Darla was born and raised in Franklin, Pennsylvania and started Hand In Hand in 2001 as a small private counseling  practice.  She has her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Sociology.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and she is a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner.  Darla has a life-long passion to help hurting people.  Darla sees each person as having value and believes that every person has a story that needs to be heard.  She is an entrepreneur and  likes to create jobs to help families in our local communities. She is a wife, a mother and a grandmother.   Darla loves spending  time with her family and friends, going  on outdoor adventures, growing her faith, traveling, being creative, learning new things and helping others.  To sum it up, Darla can be described as planting hope, inspiring dreams and changing lives and she gives thanks to her Lord Jesus for all that she has.
