Julia started her journey working at Hand in Hand in September of 2022. She has prior experience working with adults with co-occurring diagnosis in mental health with the focus on intellectual disability. The mental health field has always been near and dear to her as she struggles herself with mental illness and wants to help advocate for others as well as decrease the negative stigma that surrounds mental illnesses. She believes Hand in Hand Counseling can help her achieve that which is why she chose to work here. During her free time she loves to travel and explore with her dogs, Mr. Bojangles and Jake.
